Get answers to common questions about Upper Lip.
Results generally last two to four weeks depending on hair growth rate and hormones. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hair over time. Schedule based on regrowth visibility for best maintenance.
Some discomfort is normal but brief. We use small, precise wax applications and calming techniques to minimize sensitivity. Applying a cold compress afterward and avoiding caffeine beforehand can reduce perceived pain.
Come with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy creams or oils on the upper lip. Trim longer hairs to a quarter inch if needed and inform your technician about recent skin treatments or medications.
A small number may experience redness or ingrown hairs. Prevent with gentle exfoliation after 48 hours, avoid picking, and use a soothing, non-comedogenic moisturizer. If severe irritation occurs, contact us or your dermatologist promptly.
Most clients return every three to four weeks, depending on individual growth. Bookings can be scheduled on a routine basis to maintain smoothness and prevent noticeable regrowth between visits.
Avoid if you have active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, recent chemical peels, or are using retinoids. Sensitive skin can be waxed cautiously; consult our technician for a patch test before Upper Lip waxing.
