Get answers to common questions about Upper Lip.
A typical Upper Lip threading appointment takes about five to ten minutes total. We cleanse the skin, remove hair with precision and finish with a soothing touch. First-time clients may add a few minutes for consultation.
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal for a few hours after Upper Lip threading. Our gentle technique and post-care soothing balm reduce irritation. Avoid heavy makeup, exfoliation, sun exposure, and harsh products for 24 hours to help calm the skin.
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for two to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular threading can slow regrowth and extend intervals between appointments. Factors include hormones, genetics, and personal maintenance routines.
We recommend waiting at least 1–2 hours before applying makeup to the threaded area. Open follicles can be more prone to irritation or infection; allow the skin to calm and use clean, non-comedogenic products if needed shortly after the service.
Yes; our trained technicians use gentle threading methods and pre/post-care to protect sensitive or acne-prone skin. We assess your skin beforehand and may adjust technique or recommend topical soothing treatments. Avoid active acne lesions being directly threaded.
Come with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid exfoliating the area for 24–48 hours. Inform us about medications or skin conditions. If you experience severe sensitivity, consider applying a topical numbing cream beforehand only after consulting our technician.
